This is still a work in progress, but here's the gist:
Gut remodel of a kitchen and dining room in the Rugby neighborhood in Charlottesville. Removed the wall separating the kitchen and dining rooms to provide a large open the space for the new cabinet layout and dining space. Added plumbing for a pot filler and separate coffee bar area. New lighting (can-less LEDs) throughout the kitchen and dining room, including switched under-cabinet lights. Moved the basement stairs door to open the space even more. Changed the powder room door to a pocket door to keep the hallway clear.
This was a personal project so of course I don't have great pictures throughout, but... I turned the closet of one of my kid's rooms into a secret room, complete with Narnia-inspired wardrobe. Requests from the client included: loft bed, ladder, sparkling silver walls/ceiling, whiteboard, chalkboard, desk, LED lights... (Ok, some of those were my idea) Not quite done with the doors yet, but I think it turned out pretty great.
